1990 525i BMW Cirrusblau Metallic - Poltergeist

The vehicle will not crank up after I add gas. This has happened on four separate occasions,each time I had to get the vehicle towed. The mechanic advised me that the fuel pump is okay. Any suggestions?

Also, with the car was towed to the mechanic it crank right up except for the last time.

Today, my baby crank up but tomorrow is unknown.

Are you putting the gas cap back on tight? Or maybe you have a faulty gas cap? What does "the mechanic" have to say about the issue? What kind of gas are you using?

yeah that gas cap thing will cause the engine to sputter and die. Something about the fuel tank pressure. I had that problem with my E39 5er.

I utilized Med to High Octane gas. I will check my gas cap. Thanks for the advise.
