e36 m3 missfireing

hi guys and gals i have a 1996 e36 m3 3.0 its had a bit of a misfire at around 2500 rpm but its always cleared itself when you put my foot down but its got worse !! i had new plugs and a service but it still is there as i have never had a look at the plugs could any one tell me if they have ht leads of if they have seperate coils for each pot !! or has any of you had a the same prob !!

it could be one of your coil packs, take your m3 to a BMW dealership and have your car run on the computer.

1996 M3's are 3.2. Anyway, if the car is misfiring than it is most likely your coils like thgil said. Also how long has it been since you changed your plugs. DO NOT USE PLAT PLUGS!!!!

i had the plugs replaced 2 weeks ago so im shure that its not the problem ! it sounds like u guys are right about the coil packs so thankyou ! but my m3 is a 97 3.0 the very last of !! and you can still i think get the gt1 gt2 in the uk they are also 3.0 but much lighter then the normal m3
