I recently purchased a 1995 740i and one of the buttons was broken on the multi-information display. Per the dealer you cannot buy buttons but have to replace the entire unit ($500+) dollars. This seems a bit much for a button, and I have not been able as yet to find one through any salvage yards. Does anyone have any suggestions?[???1]
